yay i just slept for damn long. woke up for dinner and went back to sleep again.i'm just extremely lazy today..one of those days where you just bring yourself to do anything.. although you know you have to cos you got 2 seminars on thurs which involves an essay on the non-existent constitution and a 10 hour long(cos it says that's how long you're supposed to spend) tort tutorial.brilliant. heehee so to avoid doing any of that. i'm writing here. just 2 weeks shy of it being one year since the last time i did haha... i cannot believe people still come here.people meaning like mummy and kg and "the fly".whatever possesed you to click on that link?HAHAHAH.
anyways, life has been ok here so far. been on some mini-excursions around, like to manchester and to elland stadium to watch leeds united play against walsall hahahah that's like a 20 min car ride to the outskirts of leeds la. it's been really different but i'm doing ok hahaha...coursework has been alright. lots of readings that i haven't done.that's probably why i still think its "alright" only hahaha... but i'm enjoying lectures so far. no regrets choosing this. it's probably the most interest i've taken to anything in my academic career. although i dun deny it takes damn alot of work. maybe you'll hear me crying for mercy sometime down the road hahaha... hmmm other than work i've actually mainly been busy settling in.at least one day of the week here is devoted to housework. stuff like vacumming and doing laundry. i so regret not bringing a laundry bag. so i can just throw delicates in the machine. now i have to handwash them so my fingers are rotting off >.< ok la. not that bad hahahah. living on campus also saves me alot of trouble, my frens who dun have to walk. taking the public bus here is ridiculously expensive. it costs 3 pounds return.which is like 8 bucks.so sometimes if there are a few pple it makes more sense to just cab. mostly everybody here walks. i've been walking so much that i now have GI-normous calf muscles. dun even need to flex can see le hahahah ewww. mmm another good thing(maybe not?) is that i stay catered, the first day i was here i was so excited at the catered food cos it looked so good! breakfast is sumptious the first week. great the 2nd. ok the 3rd. and hell for the 4th onwards cos it's the SAME food everyday. dinner is also roughly the same ang moh food all the time. i really miss zi char black carrot cake and my bubble tea.. bubble tea!!!!! T.T as a result i've been trying my hand at cooking, so far it's not been much, there was bak kut teh, stir fry veg, steak and pulot hitam hahaha.all of which turned out great. or maybe cos i'm deprived la hahahah....i've been craving barley these few days, what with my bad throat and all. i've been sick quite a bit since i got here. they say its freshers flu. you're not a fresher till you get it. i say it's all the drinking and partying and smoking they do here.haha...there are actually 3 clubs in the student union.so at night there are always skimpily dressed people in the friggin cold queueing outside union with a bouncer hahahah.... the brits have a high threshold for cold. my brother says ang mohs have blubber asians dun. i got no comment HAHAH.
oh my this has turned into a rather long post. i feel slightly more inclined to start work. absolutely great considering it's already 11pm. haha... guess i won't be sleeping much anws.cos i slept so much just now!!so... guess that's it for now.next post in a year's time(:

hahaha ok haven't been blogging much.actually haven't been blogging at all la..too lazy le haha nothing interesting happening anws..went shopping with pei shan,yong xian, yushan and wensi today, and......we didn't buy a thing!lol and none of us got what we set out to buy in the first place--bag. boo nowadays all the bags look the same so boring zzz....anws yx,ws and shan kept talking bout prom everything like all planned out already..scary la!stress ps and me out T.T
Haix..so sad.just realised yesterday that there's officially only about 3 weeks of school left.Then its prelims and A levels(rwarrrrr * tries hard not to think about the dreaded*). Then somebody brought up our graduation ceremony on october 6th and it suddenly hit me that we're leaving hc soon.. feels like i just came not long ago la..can't believe we're leaving already.Maybe its cause i spent 10 years in MG, by the time it was sec 4 i was dying to leave already.But the 2 years in hc seems to have flown by even without me knowing it.I've met completely different people from all walks of life, made plenty of friends and learnt so much in this place. Can't really write down all the memories and experiences, just dunno where to start lol.Guess i'll really miss it when we leave:/ Soon,people'll be heading off to NS, uni, work or even off to some faraway country.Man...this sucks, feels like we're all growing up already... haha wonder what we'll all be like 10 years down the road..must have runion then ok!hahaha(ahem attention welfare reps) LOL anws i'm sure mummy will be very enthu about organising a reunion =D

Lombard street!the most crooked street in the world ahahaha.it was super duper cold when we visited the place.i just hiding behind walls to get out of the wind. The street basically goes zig-zag all the way down, and there are plenty of cars trying to navigate through it lol...of course that's me and shan in the foreground(:
Google! wahaha all employees in google have free food.and the google policy is that every employee is within 100m of food. so there's like food stations like everywhere o.O and they have a gym volleyball court, swimming pool, foosball table, and even a laundry room...holy la i wanna work there man..anws we got a free lunch.the food super nice!got ben n jerry's for dessert too...yummm

Yosemite national park!super zai.Really know the meaning of geography some to life le.We were like surrounded by documentry like scenery all day la.Forgot the name of that waterfall but we climbed all the way up. That's a close-up view by the way. I think we trekked like 4 km to reach it.super far.the last stretch was like 600 steps or smth.the tour guide was asking us to count-.-
The waterfall was sending water droplets all over the place so it was like somebody took a hose and made super light drizzle fall all over us, all the way up the last part of the trek.As a result we saw alot alot alot of rainbows!!mega clear ones too haha...that's just one of the many we saw.

mwahahaha i'm going to the U.S. for 2 weeks!!!!
actually, i need to wake up in less than 5 hours.but i don't feel like sleeping.just finished packing up my laguage and everything..haha i'm so not looking forward to the flight man.i think its like 18 hours.trapped in this small little space.dieeeeeee...
haha this is the first time i'm actually so unexcited about going overseas :/
bet everybody wants to kill me now lol
nvm. guess i'll feel the excitement when i see everybody tmr hahaha=)
