yay i just slept for damn long. woke up for dinner and went back to sleep again.i'm just extremely lazy today..one of those days where you just bring yourself to do anything.. although you know you have to cos you got 2 seminars on thurs which involves an essay on the non-existent constitution and a 10 hour long(cos it says that's how long you're supposed to spend) tort tutorial.brilliant. heehee so to avoid doing any of that. i'm writing here. just 2 weeks shy of it being one year since the last time i did haha... i cannot believe people still come here.people meaning like mummy and kg and "the fly".whatever possesed you to click on that link?HAHAHAH.

anyways, life has been ok here so far. been on some mini-excursions around, like to manchester and to elland stadium to watch leeds united play against walsall hahahah that's like a 20 min car ride to the outskirts of leeds la. it's been really different but i'm doing ok hahaha...coursework has been alright. lots of readings that i haven't done.that's probably why i still think its "alright" only hahaha... but i'm enjoying lectures so far. no regrets choosing this. it's probably the most interest i've taken to anything in my academic career. although i dun deny it takes damn alot of work. maybe you'll hear me crying for mercy sometime down the road hahaha... hmmm other than work i've actually mainly been busy settling in.at least one day of the week here is devoted to housework. stuff like vacumming and doing laundry. i so regret not bringing a laundry bag. so i can just throw delicates in the machine. now i have to handwash them so my fingers are rotting off >.< ok la. not that bad hahahah. living on campus also saves me alot of trouble, my frens who dun have to walk. taking the public bus here is ridiculously expensive. it costs 3 pounds return.which is like 8 bucks.so sometimes if there are a few pple it makes more sense to just cab. mostly everybody here walks. i've been walking so much that i now have GI-normous calf muscles. dun even need to flex can see le hahahah ewww. mmm another good thing(maybe not?) is that i stay catered, the first day i was here i was so excited at the catered food cos it looked so good! breakfast is sumptious the first week. great the 2nd. ok the 3rd. and hell for the 4th onwards cos it's the SAME food everyday. dinner is also roughly the same ang moh food all the time. i really miss zi char black carrot cake and my bubble tea.. bubble tea!!!!! T.T as a result i've been trying my hand at cooking, so far it's not been much, there was bak kut teh, stir fry veg, steak and pulot hitam hahaha.all of which turned out great. or maybe cos i'm deprived la hahahah....i've been craving barley these few days, what with my bad throat and all. i've been sick quite a bit since i got here. they say its freshers flu. you're not a fresher till you get it. i say it's all the drinking and partying and smoking they do here.haha...there are actually 3 clubs in the student union.so at night there are always skimpily dressed people in the friggin cold queueing outside union with a bouncer hahahah.... the brits have a high threshold for cold. my brother says ang mohs have blubber asians dun. i got no comment HAHAH.

oh my this has turned into a rather long post. i feel slightly more inclined to start work. absolutely great considering it's already 11pm. haha... guess i won't be sleeping much anws.cos i slept so much just now!!so... guess that's it for now.next post in a year's time(:
